Ester Eko-energia Polska’s first project is located in Włocławek.
After discussions with the local municipal President and his council, negotiations were started with the Saniko Sp. z o.o. and its leadership. An initial contract for provision of municipal solid waste has been signed and the waste analyzed. Saniko is already providing positive leadership in its sorting process for waste. This will provide waste of much higher quality and energy value. Because of this excellent work, Ester Eko-energia Polska will be able to produce 70% more renewable electrical energy than first calculated.
The waste treatment plant will be able to handle 100 tons of municipal solid waste per day. It will produce an annual amount of electricity in excess of 55,000 MWH, i.e. significant percentage of the population of Włocławek will receive its electricity from solid municipal waste gasification and cogeneration. Concurrent heat production will help the MPEC company of Włocławek to reduce its dependency on coal.
There is an additional option to build aquaponics center where remaining warm water, CO2 and Nitrogen will be used to feed plants and fish that will be marketed. Remaining water will be exposed to sunlight within the greenhouse and algae for bio-diesel will be grown and sold as part of the process
The proven EnEco technology will reduce carbon emissions and reduce the need for any landfill site. The technology does not use incineration and thus does NOT release toxins or burnt metals into the atmosphere. The company has documented evidence from its projects in Canada, the USA and China that show that this technology poses no threats to the surrounding population.
In fact, by strategically locating the waste to energy units, we will actually reduce the amount of pollutants found in the air and water at that location rather than increasing them.
Ester Eko-energia Polska plans to build up to 25 plants over the next five years.
